Come and enjoy the showing of Bibbulmun Journeys at the Albany Visitor Centre. This documentary showcases one of Australia’s premiere long-distance bush walking tracks situated in Western Australia’s south-west. A wilderness track that is approximately 1000 kms long and is so diverse in its landscape that it will have you winding your way through jarrah, marri and wando forests. You will pass through old historical timber towns and flowing rivers, pass farmlands, climbing up over huge granite boulders with spectacular views, mist covered valleys as well as the incredible dramatic coastline of the south-west.
Bushwalking WA is calling on bushwalkers, trail runners and hikers to complete a 10-minute online survey to provide valuable community input to help shape future strategy.
Responses will help develop the official Bushwalking and Trail Running Strategy for Western Australia, being steered primarily by Sport and Recreation and Parks and Wildlife Service. To complete the survey, bushwalkers should follow this link.
