Supporting Tourism Businesses
Coronavirus (COVID-19) is causing unprecedented disruption and concern for small businesses across Western Australia. To help you keep up-to-date with the latest information for tourism businesses, we have set up a dedicated page which is updated as new information becomes available. Photo by Steve Pontin.
COVID-19 Information for Clubs
GSCORE is committed to ensuring the health and safety of our staff, stakeholder groups and clients. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have cancelled all our training events and instructor programs. All meetings with stakeholder groups will now occur via telephone or videoconferencing. We are focused on helping our region to remain resilient and positive in the face of these unprecedented challenges.
Enhancing professionalism and skills in the outdoor recreation sector, GSCORE is promoting healthy communities and driving economic growth.
This project is made possible by the State Government’s Royalties for Regions program and the support of the following sponsors.
Traditional Owner Acknowledgement
GSCORE, the Great Southern Centre for Outdoor Recreation Excellence, was first established on the lands of the Wagyl Kaip and Southern Noongar region. We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners, their Elders past and present, for the important role Indigenous people continue to play in Australia and most especially on the land and water used for outdoor recreation, education, adventure, tourism and nature-based activities Operating in an eco-friendly sustainable way on Australia’s land and waterways is important to us, as is respecting sacred indigenous sites.
