Public Information Sessions – Albany Heritage Park (AHP) Trails Development

Upgrading the recreational trails in AHP was identified as a Priority Project in the Albany Trail Hub Strategy adopted by Council in 2015 and resulted in the AHP Trails Concept Plan being developed and adopted by Council in 2017. Since this time detailed planning of the first trails has been progressing including completion of more detailed surveys of environmental and cultural values. To inform the community on the progress of the project, community members are invited to visit information displays and…

Come along to the Family Nautical Festival at Albany Waterfront Marina. There will be free twilight sailing in the harbour by Princess Royal Sailing Club. The public will have an opportunity to set a flare off and learn about flare safety. Bring your old life jackets to the event and exchange it for a $15 voucher towards a new, inflatable lifejacket. The Australian Skateboarding League is heading to Albany for the WA National State Qualifier of the 2018-19 ASL Series. This National Qualifier is proudly supported by the City of Albany. Being Australia’s premier nationwide, amateur skateboarding series, the Australian Skateboarding League showcases and gives opportunity to some of the countries best up-coming skaters. Get down to Albany Sk8 & BMX Park on the 2nd and 3rd of February for the Western Australia National State Qualifier! Warm-up kicks off at 11:00am
